One cannot practice villainy while expecting the blessings of heroism. And that is the great contradiction of modern America. We accept it as fact that we are the protagonists, without even asking ourselves what we have done to deserve that honor.

This all matters because, despite the contrary insistences and protestations of powerful men over the centuries, we ultimately live in a world which is governed by good and righteous forces, with evil not being rewarded for very long. Eventually, civilizations either shape up, or they ship out. They either obey that which is Divine, or they collapse into chaos and hell, never to re-emerge upon the global stage.

I would implore anyone who is reading these words to ask themselves in no uncertain terms: "Am I one of the good guys? Do my actions bear righteous fruit? Or do I practice malicious rebellion against the powers of Heaven?" For those are among the most pertinent inquiries one can ever pose to oneself in this life.

If there is even the slightest suggestion that the answers to those questions are anything less than exemplary, then you and I both have work to do, and it is my fervent hope that we can morally redirect both ourselves and our people before fate renders our efforts too long overdue.
